My convertible top was not working so I took my car to Santa Monica BMW for a diag. Santa Monica BMW tried to charge me 10k to fix the roof and I knew something was wrong so I took my car to Avus Autosport, they were able to fix a hydronic line in my roof and tension cable for less than 2500$. The owner was so honest and kind and did great work. Taking my car to Avus saved me 7500$!! So now I have more money for my next fun car. It’s hard to find an honest mechanic now adays but Avus delivered and didn’t try to up charge me or sell me services I didn’t need. I highly recommend Avus if you have a European car, it’s clear the owner is an enthusiast himself and treats customers like family. Great service! And the best part is that they use OEM BMW parts so they come with a 2 year warranty, I trust Avus to get the job done right for a fair price.

Can not say enough good things about Andrew, Sandro, Ruben and the whole group at Avus Autosport. As soon as you walk in you can tell that they take pride in their work. The shop is what you would want it to look like if you built one yourself. However the most important part of any shop is their knowledge and here once again they excel. The work they did on my car was top notch and done in an expedient manner. They know exactly what they are doing and then get it done in a reasonable time frame. Each time I have taken my car here they have been less expensive than I was thinking and done better work than I was expecting. They also stand behind their work and are extremely accommodating when addressing any issues or questions you may have.

Trust in this industry is very rare, and reviews like this are normally always biased with people reviewing shops based only on personality of people working there and without knowing what goes into the actual work being done. When you see someone leave a five star review, how do you know that they know the work that has gone into the car? Usually people have no idea what shops do to their cars. In my case, my business is in the automotive industry and I deal with shops on a daily basis. I can say with absolute certainty that Avus Autosport is run by people that love cars, and treat my cars as if they were theirs. Their mechanics have the experience and in-depth knowledge around any of the BMW’s or Porsche’s that I’ve brought in, and only use the best vendors as I’ve used their vendors as well. All in all I can say that for any German or European car, Avus is the one shop that I can trust 100% to be friendly, yes, but to truly do the work in the right manor with the utmost care that I look for. Thank you guys for always taking care of any car that I bring you!!

I was interested in a Porsche in the area and scheduled a Pre-Purchase Inspection at Avus. The team could tell straight away that this wasn't a vehicle worth pursuing and saved me a great deal of time and effort. They were honest in their assessment and even spent time with me afterwards to discuss what I was looking for in a Porsche, what some of the pitfalls and things to look out for are, and what to look for in a vehicle and seller. All in all, it was a great experience and I can't recommend them enough.

I've used these guys about 8 years ago for a sunroof problem my 2001 BMW M5 was having, they did a great job replacing it then and it hasn't given me any issues. Yesterday, the window regulator went out while I was on a trip to Disneyland. I went over to the shop the very next day and they saw me immediately and took a look at things- as it happened they had a window regulator in stock and did the job in under 3 hours. I was really sweating about having the window down and possibly causing damage with the humidity/dew over night so these guys really came through for me. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable about older BMWs like mine. It's certainly a relief knowing I can trust the team to work on my somewhat fragile collector car. I've got a couple other problems to take care of so I'll definitely be coming back here soon.

Avus Autosport & Sandro Parra Honest, Skilled, and Truly Caring I've been bringing my Mini Cooper to Avus Autosport ever since the warranty expired, and they're the best shop I've ever worked with. The space is spotless, you could probably eat off the floor, and everyone there is professional and kind. Sandro Parra deserves special mention. His bedside manner when delivering repair news is incredible. He always explains what's happening clearly, never oversells, and makes even big repairs more straightforward to handle. He looks for ways to save me money, for example, if my car didn't need a whole bottle of coolant, he'd only charge for what was used. That kind of transparency is rare, and I appreciate it more than I can say. Once, I even had rats chew through my engine mount and spark plug covers (yes, really!). Sandro handled it with humor and care, getting me safely back on the road. After 18 great years, I've finally retired my 2007 Mini and bought a new one, but I already know this will be my go-to shop again once the warranty runs out. If you own a Mini, BMW, or any car you love and want it treated right, Avus Autosport is the place to go. They've earned my complete trust.

Shipped my 1980 Porsche 924 from Chicago directly to AVUS Autosport as I heard this is where I need to service it. AVUS got my 924 running as if it was right off the showroom floor. Avus fixed the punctured front heat exchanger/radiator on my 2021 M2 Comp. Also had the guys upgrade the larger center exchanger and oil cooler to CSF units. The work done here is excellent and would highly recommend their team if you want quality work, repairs/ upgrades done to your BMW.
